Transportation Resources

May 15, 2008

Note: The following is a list of transport providers out of Lebanon – the list is intended as a resource for Americans wishing to leave the country.  The U.S. Embassy compiled the list but cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information therein.  Prices and services are subject to change.  If you find that information on this sheet is inaccurate, or if you know of additional providers, please contact the embassy at beirutacs@state.gov and let us know so that we may pass the information on to other Americans in need of information.

Thank you.

NOTE:  Now that the airport is operational, the ferry services are no longer available to those wishing to leave Lebanon.  Travelers who want to explore the option of leaving by boat should look into the possibility of chartering a private yacht.  Please be aware that this option tends to be expensive.
